About the Journal

Meta is the international journal in platinum open access and double-blind peer-review of the network Humanities for Change, published quarterly.
In syntony with the interdisciplinary spirit and the contaminatory approach that characterize the network’s activities, it intends to host contributions on some of its most relevant cores of interest: from the reflection on the possibilities of interaction between humanities and business context to the identification of new professional areas for graduates in this field; from the elaboration and design of new teaching methodologies for the humanistic knowledge teaching in schools and universities to the possibilities of reforming educational programs; from the exploration of the potential offered by the digital environment (digital humanities) to new ways of disseminating research results outside the purely academic field (public humanities and third mission).
In this sense, Meta aims to encourage a dialogue between scholars and researchers in order to stimulate a constructive discussion on the role of the humanities in the understanding of contemporary society, also in relation to their near future. The aim is to reflect in a meta-disciplinary key on the humanistic knowledge and to illustrate new employment scenarios, both in professional contexts and in academic research.
